Corner Stone Fireplace Designs... Cornering The Market!
Corner stone fireplace designs are becoming more popular than ever in to- day's marketplace! The striking designs featured here include a wide array of sizes and styles . . . . .
. . . Whether you prefer a traditional -- even rustic -- style, or your tastes lean more toward the
con- temporary, a corner stone hearth can be crafted to meet your specific requirements.
The traditional design pictured at right by BHH Partners has a very casual look and feel . . . . .
. . . . . while the two
marble
designs by Jeremy Morrelli that follow -- also tra- ditional in style -- have a much more formal look and
feel.
The striking design pictured below is by RJB Development. Note the arched niche, or recess, directly above
the mantel shelf.
The two multi-story corner stone fireplace designs that follow soar from floor to ceiling. The example on
the right has a see-thru
firebox
that can be viewed from both sides.
Conversely, the design pictured below is just one story in height. However, by extending the stone -- as
well as the raised hearth -- along the wall on the right, and incorporating a built-in entertainment center, it
appears to be much larger than it actually is.
The unique design that follows is, once again, by RJB Development. Note how the stone work extends along the
wall to the left as it tapers to the floor.
The striking bedroom fireplace designs pictured below are by Pearson Design Group. Note the large stone
blocks and slabs used to create the hearth at the base of each fireplace.
The corner stone fireplace designs that follow were also crafted for bedrooms -- each with a different,
albeit traditional, look and feel. The design pictured at upper left, below, is by Brewster McLeod Architects.
Pictured at upper right, below, is another corner hearth by Pearson Design Group. The two de- signs pictured in
the bottom row are by BHH Partners.
The fire in the outside corner hearth that follows is visible on three sides. De- signed by TKP Architects,
the smooth stone tiles and contemporary flair con- trast sharply with the designs pictured above.
And finally, the outdoor corner fireplace pictured below -- also by the tal- ented Pearson Design Group
-- is right at home in its pristine mountain set- ting. Rugged and rustic, yet solid and substantial, it derives
its inspiration from the rocky and majestic mountain slopes surrounding it.
